Bakersfield TX is a classic country and western band playing Bakersfield, CA and Texas style country music with a distinctly uptempo style. As the name suggests, Bakersfield, CA icons such as Buck Owens and Merle Haggard are a big part of our sound. The TX in our name is for Willie, Waylon, Billy Joe, etc… Texas greats.



We play mostly covers but our frontman has been writing some really good original tunes that we mix into our set. The band members are all full time working professional musicians. We love what we do, this band has great chemistry and it makes for fun times playing together.
