Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brett Detweiler has been entertaining audiences for nearly a
decade with his “electrifying performances”. Constantly pushing the boundaries of violin repertoire,
Brett's signature style seamlessly weaves together multiple genres including classical, jazz, pop, rock,
country, house, and EDM throughout his performances. Throughout his career Brett has performed
across the United States, as well as internationally in Prague, Munich, London, Florence, and many
more.

As a skilled background musician, he has been sought after by numerous visiting artists of great repute,
such as Christopher Cross - the Academy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Katherine McPhee - the
talented American Idol finalist, Bryan Carter - the Tony-winning musician, and Andrea Bocelli - the multi-
Grammy winning operatic icon.

As an accomplished orchestral musician, he has had the privilege of performing with several notable
ensembles, including the Austin Symphony, the San Antonio Chamber Symphony, the Waco Symphony,
and the Williamsburg Symphony.

A classically trained musician, Brett earned his Bachelor of Music in performance from the Penn State
University, followed by a Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of
Texas at Austin. Throughout his training Brett furthered his musical education by attending various
festivals including an invitation to the prestigious Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara,
California.
