San Antonio Original Country Band

Cactus Country Band

Cactus Country, a dynamic band with over 25 years of experience, has been lighting up stages across South Texas and the Hill Country. They've become a staple at festivals, conventions, private parties, and trail rides. You might have seen them performing at popular venues like the Tejas Rodeo, Quihi Gun Club, Falls City Community Center, and many more.

Their impressive track record includes sharing the stage with numerous Nashville celebrities such as Jon Conlee, Midland, Restless Heart, and even the Dixie Chicks before their rise to fame. They've also collaborated with Tejano stars like Roberto Pulido and Grammy winner David Lee Garza, not to mention their memorable show at the Uvalde Grand Opera Theater with Patsy Torres. Cactus Country isn't just local; they've graced the Main Stage at the State Fair of Texas and have even performed internationally in Costa Rica. Regulars at the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo and Fiesta Oyster Bake, their performances are always a hit.

The band's heart and soul are original members Brenda Dlugosh and Tony Franckowiak, a talented wife/husband duo. They're joined by Regina Matthews, a fiddling champion, versatile drummer Adam Arevales, and seasoned bass player and vocalist Eric Scott.

Known for their strong lead vocalists and backup singers, Cactus Country's repertoire spans the latest country hits, traditional tunes, classic rock, oldies, and even Tejano hits. Their diverse music surprises and delights a wide range of audiences, making them a favorite for all kinds of events.
