Pierre & The Night Cats

I started playing blues when I was about 17, fascinated by the raw sound of the music. I listened to every record I could get my hands on and played them over and over. I formed my first Blues band when I was 21 in Houston, Texas and was successful doing so. I lived in Austin from 1978 to 1985, when Austin was the place to be for the blues. As I progressed, I got to open up for many Touring Blues bands passing trough Houston including: "James Cotton/Junior Wells/Albert King/The Fabulous Thunderbirds/Muddy Water/Room Full of Blues/Lou Ann Barton/John Lee Hooker/ B.B King/Albert Collins and a few more. My biggest influence on Harmonica was "Little Walter Jacob". My singing influences are too many to mention.
