Live Oak Strings

Live Oak Strings specializes in weddings and private events. Our strings provide a lush, dynamic ambience for all occasions. We have an extremely diverse repertoire covering everything from classical/traditional repertoire to pop songs and film score arrangements.

Live Oak Strings began with the goal of bringing world-class classical and pop talent to the central Texas wedding and event industries. The heart of our identity lies in our long-standing relationships with Austin’s top musicians, venues, and coordinators. Our members are highly trained professional musicians with degrees in music performance and composition from some of the world's leading universities and conservatories. Many have worked with some of the word’s most prestigious institutions and ensembles including Jazz At Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The New World Symphony, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Clint Eastwood Scoring Stage, Capitol Records, The Sydney Opera House, and Wiener Musikverein (Vienna).
