Trevor Helt

Trevor Helt is an Austin, Texas-based guitarist whose playing spans genres and centuries, from Chet Atkins-style country fingerpicking to the flamenco stylings of Paco de Lucía, all tied together by a funky, danceable groove. Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, he picked up the guitar at thirteen and went on to study jazz and studio guitar at the University of Oregon before relocating to Austin in 2013 to pursue music full-time. Beyond performing, Trevor works as a studio musician, mixing engineer, and producer, drawing influence from artists like Jerry Reed, Guthrie Govan, Tomo Fujita, and Victor Wooten.
