ALKEMI

Hailing from Austin, Texas, Andrew Pang—better known on stage as ALKEMI—blends classical
finesse, jazz-savvy harmony, and modern club energy into one unforgettable show. Violin in one
hand, DJ deck controls in the other, he performs as a true solo act, looping live strings,
triggering precision-cut samples, and steering the room’s mood in real time.

A Versatile Musical Foundation
● Classical roots on two instruments. Andrew trained rigorously in violin and classical
piano, sharpening his ear for counterpoint and elegant phrasing.
● Jazz theory fluency. Years spent dissecting jazz standards endowed him with rich
harmonic vocabulary and the instinct to reharmonize on the fly—perfect for tailoring set
lists to upscale audiences.
● University of Washington viola performance background. Competitive youth orchestras
and conservatory masterclasses provide the technical backbone that powers every
polished note today.

Signature Visual Flair
Custom-built by Andrew’s production team, ALKEMI’s bows are fitted with single-tone
LEDs—crimson, ice-blue, violet, and more—that switch on or off in lock-step with the music.
Each solid beam of color slices through the room like a light saber, doubling as both a
showpiece and a visual metronome.
Perfect for Corporate Galas & Weddings
Whether it’s an executive-level reception, a black-tie fundraiser, or a destination wedding,
ALKEMI seamlessly scales his performance:
