Ashley Monical is an Americana artist based in Austin, Texas, known for her powerful voice, emotionally resonant songwriting, and dynamic blend of folk, rock, and gospel. After an eight year hiatus from her music career, Ashley most recently became a 2025 recipient of The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation grant, and won runner-up in the renowned Songwriter Serenade songwriting competition. She has finalized in and won multiple performing songwriting competitions. With a background in acting and performing from a young age, Ashley pours her heart into every song she sings. Her voice even brought her to Hollywood for American Idol in 2010. Over the years, she has shared stages with acclaimed artists, performed at festivals, and continues to make an impact through both her live shows and community outreach in rehab centers and singing at church on Sundays when she’s not on the road.
