The Western Express

80s-90s Country / Austin Vibe
Trio - Full Band

The Western Express

One of the premier country bands to come out of Austin, TX. From performing at the Houston and Austin Rodeos opening for The Wilder Blue and Kinky Friedman, among others, and having three top-30 hits on Red Dirt radio, we know the Texas Country Music scene.

Honky Tonkin is in our blood, and we've found amazing audiences by taking that music to corporate and other private events over the last few years. Our own original songs are framed within some of the most beloved country music of all time, and we always leave them wanting more.

Stephen Castillo started The Western Express in 2019 with some good friends and a handful of songs he'd written. He is an experienced emcee and he comfortably works with event teams to make sure the night is a stellar success.
