Moontower Entertainment strives to serve our clients’ unique live music needs while serving the Austin music community. We pride ourselves on providing the best live music for events of any size, budget, and cause. We own and manage five of Texas’s top party bands and book hundreds of acts of all genres and sizes.
We love learning about our clients’ visions and customizing entertainment to meet and exceed their expectations. We guide all of our clients through the process of adding authentic Austin live music to their events, and work hard to make the booking process as easy as possible.
Our Vision
We have made it our mission to provide a livelihood for hundreds of Austin musicians, sound techs, and lighting directors. Moontower Entertainment does not take the title of “live music capital of the world” lightly, and we know Austin is growing and changing rapidly in ways that don’t always support full-time musicians.
Both owners of Moontower Entertainment are musicians and perform nightly alongside our incredibly talented Moontower artists, so we understand their needs. Our unique perspective allows us to serve these needs and help artists thrive in the city we love so much. MEET OUR TEAM
AMOS
FOUNDER & CEO
Meet founder and CEO of Moontower Entertainment, Amos Traystman. Amos rotates playing guitar in all of the exclusive Moontower Bands and has been performing live music for more than two decades. When Amos first moved to Austin, TX in 2008, he was a speech pathologist by day and a gigging musician by night. Shortly after moving here, he started Moontower Entertainment's flagship band, Matchmaker Band, and realized that it was possible to make a living as a full time musician. The band's success was transformative for its 13 members and sent Amos on a journey to help transform the lives of other talented and deserving musicians who hadn't yet found success as full-time musicians. Since then, the company has expanded into a full-service booking agency with five award-winning party bands, hundreds of roster artists and an in-house weekly payroll consisting of 70+ full-time musicians, sound techs and lighting directors.
In addition to running the company and playing live music nightly, Amos enjoys spending time with his wife and business partner, Drew, and their three rescue dogs, eating his way through Austin's amazing food scene and frequenting the Alamo Drafthouse. Amos is also a very proud father to Marvin, his one-year-old son.

Drew Davis is Moontower Entertainment's Chief Operating Officer and proud best friend, business partner, wife and baby mama to Moontower's owner and CEO Amos Traytsman. Drew has been performing music live since she was six years old. Drew finished college in 2012 and moved to Austin, TX right after graduation in hopes to pursue music. She worked for a small marketing firm for several years, working all day and gigging around town most nights.
Drew and Amos met in 2015, when Moontower Entertainment was just an idea and Matchmaker Band's calendar was fully booked. Thanks to their combined musical backgrounds coupled with Drew's marketing experience and Amos's vision Moontower Entertainment is today, a full blown booking agency with five thriving in-house party bands.
Drew's original artist background brings something unique to the team, as many Moontower performers are original artists in their own right. She is passionate about helping original artists make a living as full-time musicians, utilizing the private party sector to help fund and sustain their original endeavors.
When she's not over-seeing Moontower Entertainment, you can find Drew hanging out with Amos and their three dog children, teaching pilates, leading songwriting groups, attending her friends local shows, or trying to find the latest Austin bar with the city's next best old fashioned.
